The project involves a feasibility study for developing a bypass road connecting Sylhet Airport Road with Chowkidekhi Bus Terminal and Railway Station under the Roads and Highways Department. The study assesses the existing road network, traffic conditions, route alignment, topography, drainage, environmental conditions, land requirements and preliminary construction costs. It also provides technical recommendations for developing a safe, efficient and climate-resilient road connection to improve urban mobility and reduce traffic congestion in Sylhet.
