Construction of 100-Bed Upazila Health Complex Project at Karnaphuli, Chattogram

The proposed “Construction of a 100-Bed Upazila Health Complex at Karnaphuli, Chattogram” aims to establish a modern healthcare facility to improve access to quality medical services in southern Chattogram. Implemented under the Directorate General of Health Services, the project will provide specialized treatment, emergency care, and advanced diagnostic facilities while reducing pressure on major urban hospitals. The hospital is expected to serve approximately 2.4 million people from Karnaphuli and surrounding areas. With an estimated cost of BDT 294.96 crore, the project is scheduled for implementation from April 2026 to March 2029.
